DIGESTOR FOR TRICHINE DETERMINATION. The Trichomatic® 50/100 digester allows carrying out the official method, published in the Official Journal of the European Communities on June 7, 1984, method VI and in the Official State Gazette dated January 25, 1996, section 1582, which refers to the artificial digestion of collective samples of meat from animals of the porcine and equine species, using a magnetic stirrer, for the detection of Trichinella.

The materials included are:

• 10 Pepsin in 10 gr.

• 1 Glass f/b with a capacity of 3,000 ml.

• 1 Decanter funnel with a capacity of 2 liters.

• 1 Tube for sampling.

• 1 graduated cylinder with 25 ml capacity.

• 1 heating and stirring plate.

• 1 x 1,000 MI. Hydrochloric Acid 25%.

• 10 Pepsin in 5 gr.

• 1 Cuvette for counting larvae.

• 1 Balance, 1 grinder and 1 sieve. ? ?
